The short version
We collect only what we need to hold your spot, run your classes and keep in touch. We don't sell your information. If you opt in to texts, your mobile number is used for the texts you asked for and nothing else, and it is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
What we collect
- Class sign-ups. When you save a free spot or reserve a founding spot at ember-hot-pilates.com/reserve, we collect your first and last name, mobile phone number, your chosen class time and, if you give it, your email address.
- Payments. Deposits and memberships are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive a confirmation, the amount, and the name and email on the payment.
- Site analytics. We use Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use the site (pages viewed, buttons clicked, the ad or link that brought you here). These tools set cookies and may collect your device and browser information.
- Messages you send us. Emails, texts and calls to the studio, so we can reply.
How we use it
- To hold your spot, confirm your class time and tell you where to go.
- To process deposits and memberships and keep your account current.
- To send class updates, schedule changes and studio news, by email or, only if you opted in, by text.
- To understand what's working on the site and improve it.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Text messaging
If you opt in to texts, we use your mobile number to send booking confirmations, class reminders, waitlist openings, and studio news and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time. Opting in is optional and is never a condition of signing up or buying anything.
We do not share or sell your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our messaging platform), and only to send messages you asked for.

Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the studio, and only for that purpose: Stripe (payments), Netlify (website hosting and form storage), our messaging platform (texts you opted in to), our email provider, and Meta and Microsoft (site analytics). We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect the studio, our members or our instructors.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share your mobile number or SMS consent with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Sign-up and membership records are kept while you're a member or on our list and for as long as we need them afterward for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Records of your text-message consent (the date, time, page and wording you agreed to) are kept for five years as required by messaging rules. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or START to rejoin.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any studio email, or tell us.
- Analytics cookies: most browsers let you block or clear cookies. Meta's and Microsoft's own settings let you limit ad tracking.
- Access, correction or deletion: email info@ember-hot-pilates.com and we'll take care of it.
Security
Payments are handled by Stripe over encrypted connections, and we never see or store full card numbers. Sign-up data is stored with our hosting and messaging providers, which use industry-standard protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum and limit who can see it.
Children
Our classes and website are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we use your mobile number will be sent to you before they take effect.
